Position: Offloader, Final Mile
Department: Werner Final Mile
Location: Sonoma Warehouse, Zelinople, PA
Work Environment: On-site
Shift: 8am-5pm /11am-8pm /$17.50- $19.00.
Operational Mon- Sat / 5 day work schedule / Closed Sundays
Paid every 2 weeks, W-2
Job Summary:
- Physical warehouse position unloading tractor trailer loads of furniture and staging it for deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously lift, lower, push, pull furniture up to and some in excess of 100 lbs.- handcarts and 4 wheel dollies supplied to assist
- Unloading Inbound Trailers utilizing scanners to put away in locator system
- Pull product for next days deliveries utilizing scanners and locator system
- Achieve set standards for productivity, accuracy and safety
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing accurate results
- Warehouse/Retail Stock Room/Distribution Center Environment Experience A Plus
Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirements: Must be 18 years old.
- Pass a pre-employment physical
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Experience Preferred: Previous 12 months in a heavy items warehouse environment
