Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Compensation: Full-Time / Non-Exempt / Hourly
Location: Traverse City
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday; 11:00 am - 7:30 pm (or later as needed)
SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate receives and organizes inventory, picks and palletizes orders, and performs other warehouse duties as assigned by the Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Accurately and efficiently pick orders and assemble pallets for delivery; receive incoming vendor deliveries and put inventory away.
- Use computer software to generate pick tickets and inventory stickers.
- Use handheld computer tablets for picking, receiving and managing inventory.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for employee safety, food safety and inventory / warehouse management.
- Participate in daily team huddle to assess workflow, problem solve and implement improvements in the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work environment.
- Assist Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Manager with other duties as assigned / needed.
- Assist with making decisions to adjust produce inventory based on quality control standards.
