Responsible for leading the Program Management function across all Piramal Pharma Solutions (PPS) Global network. The incumbent will establish processes to ensure execution of the contracted programs according to defined timelines and cost, via leading multidisciplinary project teams. The Position will work closely with the PPS Executive committee ExCom, the sites Leadership and other global functions like R&D.

EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific subject or equivalent experience in a relevant environment
• Previous experience in Program Management, business development/selling activities and leading cross-functional project teams and achieving goals
• Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to form solid working relationships with stakeholders and use influence to accomplish functional and business goals
• Ability to influence internal staff to achieve business and functional goals without direct authority or reporting lines
• Understanding of typical CDMO service contracts and legal agreements
• Ability to understand cultural differences and modify behaviours to support global customer relationships
• Ability to establish and maintain key relationships with external and internal business leaders

ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Development support

• Support the Global BD team in selling efforts on integrated projects by directing, planning, coordinating, and managing the activities of project management team involved in integrated projects globally

Functional leadership

• Provide leadership, support, and a career development path for integrated project managers as well as to provide training as needed to ensure uniform project management practices and departmental goals achieved
• Foster an environment where team members seek opportunities to improve current practices

Integrated Project Management

• Offer a one Piramal experience to the clients through seamless management and delivery of integrated projects across locations. Achieve CSI score deliverables through execution of client deliverables
• Establish global best practices and process to adopt a harmonized approach to manage integrated projects
• Manage project scope, critical path, timeline and budget of multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Integral client relationship management to realize client goals
• Negotiate acceptance of scope changes with client

Financial reporting

• Maintain the revenue forecast in close collaboration with project managers, site leadership teams, finance and business development team
• Collaborate with finance to monitor, track, and invoice throughout the project lifecycle

Cross-functional communication

• Manage and communicate client needs and expectations to operations team
• Routinely provide senior management with a project portfolio report, which shall include budget and schedule variance, risks, and status
• Effectively schedule, facilitate and manage team meetings and ensure that proper communication regarding the project is appropriately elevated and distributed
• Establish and report on essential project metrics and elevate issues/risks to senior and executive management. Manage revenue forecast for projects
