Position Summary:

As our VP, Ecommerce Marketing, you will be the owner of the vision for the Ecommerce platform within the overall company strategy. You will be responsible for all communication touchpoints within the Nutrisystem ecosystem providing the ultimate shopping experience for our current and prospective customers through feature development and continuous improvement of the Nutrisystem site. As Ecommerce business owner and product owner, you will be responsible for the user flow across the funnel by driving the optimal customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and launch testing, targeting, and optimization activities across all of Nutrisystem properties (Nutrisystem and Numi)
  • Establish aggressive and methodical testing and optimization plans to drive targeted KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) including conversion, average order value, lead collection, and lifetime value
  • Implement a uniform communication strategy across all customer touchpoints.
  • Test marketing messages, product descriptions, and flows, UI/UX, calls-to-action, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, including SMS and email
  • Provide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports, and results to key stakeholders
  • Manage all product, project, and initiative status reports
  • Identify necessary reports, metrics, and analysis to measure the effectiveness and validate the success of completed projects
  • Manage and partner with 3rd party vendors and technologies on strategy and implementation of conversion and segmentation initiatives
  • Partner with internal Nutrisystem teams especially focused on tech/QA to keep site current and aligned across multi-channel initiatives as well as to plan for future site features and functionality
  • Prioritize projects and initiatives based on value, impact and long-term strategic goals.
  • Work with design, front-end development, and web operations to prioritize site projects by assessing incoming requests and recommending efficient solutions to these requests
  • Provide strong leadership and empower a talented team of ecommerce and product owner team members
  • Other duties may be assigned by supervisor or management. In the event of absence, duties for this position will be overseen by the position to which it reports

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of a proven track record of growing online businesses using conversion rate optimization
  • Exceptional funnel optimization and cross-platform communication between the website, mobile optimized web, and native app
  • Audience segmentation to maximize conversion
  • Cross-functional communication with operations, finance, senior leadership, and IT including QA
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated success managing priorities and personalities in cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to drive actionable insights from data is a must
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication/presentation skills
  • Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical data programs
  • Working knowledge of major website testing tools as well as Web Analytics (Google Analytics)
