Virtual production removes the barriers between live production and visual effects so that they can occur simultaneously instead of inline.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the successful bidding, production, and management of virtual production projects
- Sources virtual production personnel
- Manages and tracks cost efficiency of individual projects
- Project management and allocation of resources on projects including liaising with global Scanline studios
- Adoption of new practices, frameworks, and technology as it applies to Virtual Production within the company
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Three (3) years of experience on major feature films in a similar role
- Must have post-production experience managing complex VFX shows from either the client or vendor side
- On-set mocap and virtual production management experience (required)
- Ability to engage in partnerships with technology vendors
- On-set experience with quoting, ordering, purchasing, or renting onset equipment (cameras, lights, motion capture equipment, etc.)
- Extensive experience in mocap, production/operational environments
- Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients and staff
