The Vice President, Marketing will be responsible for the development and implementation of both short- and long-term multi-channel marketing strategies to accelerate brand image and business impact. Part analytical and part creative, this role will focus on transforming data into actionable insights that will help shape a 360 omni-channel approach to customer engagement, in line with the brand’s strategic priorities. Working with several cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging at all touchpoints, this role will oversee the implementation marketing-related initiatives to support retail, e-commerce and wholesale partners.
Responsibilities
- Partner with PR and Special Events leads to define a cross-functional 360 brand engagement strategy, maximizing the impact of pivotal branding activities/investments including collection and product launches, retail openings and evergreen support, as well as pop-ups and special projects that require unique marketing plans, across all channels
- Liaise and work with retail, merchandising, wholesale, and e-commerce teams to implement marketing activities that increase brand awareness and desirability with measurable ROI
- Create and develop regional marketing calendar, integrating all areas of client touchpoints
- Collaborate with VP of Marketing and Communications in development and management of departmental budget
- Develop, implement, and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing/communications function
- Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify opportunities for growth
- CRM
- Oversee local CRM database, including data capture, hygiene, and analytics
- Ensure systematic, periodical customer insight reporting to senior management team
- Lead extended rollout, development, and adoption of associate clienteling app
- Develop and implement marketing techniques that will drive acquisition and retain high value clients
- Further the development and expansion of VIC experience programming
- Develop targeting best practices, consistent with strategic priorities and define a multi-channel customer contact plan accordingly
- Partner with corporate Customer Experience team to identify, set and oversee KPIs that support strategic business priorities
- Contribute to the evolution of company analytics capabilities
- Suggest new methods to address customers’ needs
