Who we’re looking for:
Veterinary Technician
What you will be doing:
- Lots of interaction with dogs, cats, some bunnies and the occasional exotic pet
- Assisting with initial health exam of all incoming animals
- Providing continuing high quality care for shelter animals
What you’ll need:
- Animal handling and care experience definitely needed; particularly with dogs and cats…some bunnies…occasional exotic pet…some wildlife…
- Professional veterinary technician and/or assistant experience, particularly with small animals.
- Ability to clean, lift, bend, walk and handle animals, supplies and equipment
- A keen eye for detail, and drive to provide the best care possible for shelter animals!
