Veterinary Receptionist Job at Durbin Creek Animal Hospital
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and professional veterinary receptionist to join or team. This job will be mostly focusing on answering phones and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls on a multi line phone system
- Scheduling appointments
- Answering questions from clients as needed
- Relaying messages from clients to doctor
- Processing and filling medications for pick up
- Checking and responding to emails from clients
- Check website inbox and responding
- Checking voicemails and responding in a timely manor
- Enter invoices as needed
- Help at front desk when needed
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Customer Service Representative or similar role. Veterinary experince preferred.
- Computer proficiency
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. copiers and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- High school diploma
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
