MORE DETAILS:

Applicant will help our veterinarian provide all aspects of small animal health care and client service in a fast-paced environment. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following areas: appointment assistance, surgical prep/assist, client education, animal care, patient restraint, & laboratory sample collection and submission, prescription refills and answering client questions.

Experience in a small animal practice is preferred. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities and typing skills are expected. Safely lift 40 pounds when necessary. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings and have reliable transportation.

Some benefit programs require contributions from the employee, but others are partially or fully paid by the Hospital.

Typical pay rates (pending tenure and skill set):

• Registered Veterinary Technician: $17.00 to $23.00/hr
• Veterinary Assistant: $11.50 to $19.00/hr

**Salary considered for the right candidate

Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay monthly for meeting team revenue goals

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience: Veterinary Assistant or Technician Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: One location, though our company has three locations and additional hours could be available if you are interested

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.50 - $23.00 per hour
