CNC Machinist

A high tech manufacturer of communication and response products is hiring a CNC Machinist. As a CNC Machinist, you will represent the company through your craftsmanship, leadership, and efficiency. As part of the Fabrication team, you will be responsible for machining critical parts for the foundation of the products. Experienced team members are needed to assist in maximizing efficiency with CNC, Laser, Mill, and robotic technologies to further expand production capabilities. What you will do

• Analyze specifications, 3D models and drawings to determine machining process, tool holding, cutting tool and work holding requirements
• Use your knowledge of material properties to help guide tooling selection and work holding decisions
• Effectively set up and program parts to maximize output efficiency and quality
• Utilize skills to program parts in 3D CAM software and run our CNC Machines
• Measure finished parts to ensure product meets project dimensional and tolerance requirements
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment
• Work independently, inspect your work and ensure it meets quality standards

You should have

• A High School diploma or GED
• Manual machine tool experience (lathe, Mill, Saw)
• 2-5+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC machine tools
• 2+ years of experience CAM Programming for Mill
• Strong working knowledge of cutting tool selection, work-holding, and fixture design
  

Benefits and Compensation

• 3 weeks of PTO, available to use from day 1, and a quarterly incentive plan
• $25 - $35 Hour/DOE

Schedule is typically, Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm, overtime pay may be required
