Utilities Coordinator
Position Overview
ENERGY SERVICE PARTNERS is seeking a Utilities Coordinator to join our team! The Utilities Team is responsible for gaining the necessary approvals from utilities to install and activate solar systems. In this role, the Utilities Coordinator works with each utility company to ensure our customers' applications are submitted, approved, and new meters are set. The coordinator will work closely with internal and external teams to make sure each system meets the respective utility requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Submit / process 30 – 40 applications each day with different utility companies on each customer's behalf
- Follow up and coordinate with utilities for approval status updates
- Work with internal and external teams to ensure projects meet utility requirements
- Solve problems and improve processes to help increase efficiency
- Research new utility requirements
- Maintain constant communication with the field and subcontractor partners to schedule work orders as needed
- Must demonstrate ethics and professionalism at all times
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience working in the solar industry is preferred
- Able to use most modern computer software, phone-based apps, and computers required
- Must be dedicated and can adapt and work in a fast pace environment
- Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
- Must be able to prioritize and multitask on multiple projects
- Able to work under minimal supervision & resolve issues independently based on project/company standards.
