The Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking to hire an Unskilled Laborer in the Baltimore, MD area.
For over seven decades investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot).
Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.
Job Description
As an Unskilled Laborer, you will be required to perform general labor, operate tools, equipment and machinery on job sites as directed by the supervisor. Typical tasks include:
- Perform all facets of labor as assigned by supervisor.
- Assemble materials required for work assigned to crew.
- Carry materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Observe the Company s safety rules.
- Maintain proper care of Company equipment and tools.
- Perform other duties as directed or required.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver s License required
- Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card within 90 days of employment
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
