FS, Inc is looking for an Underground Utility Superintendent with proven experience in laying storm sewer and sanitary pipelines, as well as experience with horizontal boring. This position is responsible for managing the operation, construction, maintenance, and repair of underground utility systems.

Underground Utility Superintendent Job Description:

• Responsible for being the point of contact and overseeing the day-to-day activities of construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate material and equipment deliveries with vendors and suppliers.
• Have excellent time management and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to read blueprints and constructions plans.
• Great at problem solving with the ability to make decisions.
• Understand and be able to document and maintain adequate records of equipment and site operations to be reported to management as needed.
• Abide by all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as all company safety procedures.
• Commit to the overall safety of the work environment by taking extra precaution to work with the utmost care and consideration by maintaining a clean and well-organized jobsite.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience must include work with storm drainage, sanitary sewer and water installation, use of trench boxes and horizontal boring.
• Three years or more experience working with and operating various types of heavy equipment.
• Has completed, or will complete within first work week, the OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Course (FS will provide training if needed).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License required. (Class A CDL preferred, but not required)
