JOB DESCRIPTION: Local Employer is seeking professional CDL Class A drivers, MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OPERATING A DUMP TRUCK
JOB DUTIES:
- Drives truck equipped with dump body or trailer to transport and dump loose materials, such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or paving materials.
- Pulls levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents. May load truck by hand or by operating a mechanical loader.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform maintenance checks
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents, or violations
REQUIREMENTS
- Job locations are in Baltimore City and Baltimore County
- Minimum of 3 Years' Experience
- No Points/ Clean MVA Driving Record
- GED/HS Diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- A pre-employment physical and drug & alcohol testing required
