Treatment Director
Location: Mahtomedi, MN
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the oversight of all facility operations, functions and programs to carry out the business plan and delivery of core services in a fiscally prudent and effective manner consistent with the Meridian Behavioral Health Advisory Board policy and direction;
- Develops a strategic plan to advance the Company’s mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization;
- Provides leadership in developing organizational and financial plans with the Meridian Behavioral Health CEO, CFO, COO and Resource Center Vice Presidents and other staff, and carries out plans and policies as authorized by the Advisory Board;
- Ensures legal compliance and program and fiscal accountability;
- Plans, develops and implements strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the Company;
- Responsible for developing, maintaining and communicating the organization’s goals and objectives, including long-term and short-term plans;
- Accountable for the allocation, utilization and safekeeping of the Company’s financial resources and capital holdings;
- Oversees the development, implementation and reporting of the annual budget and fiscal plan to include all financial reporting required by local, state and federal funding sources;
- Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions;
- Identifies growth opportunities and directs implementation activities with approval from the Meridian Behavioral Health Advisory Board;
- Models a visionary, collaborative, supportive and results-oriented leadership style;
- Proactively leads and directs the management team and assists them in managing their programs/operations at peak efficiency and effectiveness; provides direct supervision of the entire facility leadership team.
- Oversees the annual review, evaluation and management of program/clinical and administrative services goals and objectives, consistent with the quality improvement plan of the facility.
- Evaluates performance of leadership team for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives;
- Ensures programs, strategies and best practices are implemented and promoted to assist employees in maximizing their contribution to the health and well being of the public and clients/patients served;
- Work closely with the leadership team to set expectations and concrete plans and timelines to meet budgeted growth expectations.
- Ensures effective and efficient reporting to the Advisory Board on the general operations and financial status of the Company and the programs and services delivered;
- Presents monthly financial review at Meridian Behavioral Health Advisory Board meetings;
- Identifies and develops new partnerships with business and community leaders; ensures appropriate representation, as a spokesperson, of the Company’s goals and objectives to community and other stakeholders;
- Connect face to face with community and referral contacts several times a week to directly drive business into the facility.
- Promote aggressive marketing goals and help to drive census and exceed budgeted financial goals;
- Maintains a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in Behavioral Health;
Job Requirements:
- MN LADC in good standing
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; Masters Degree preferred;
- 5+ years of extensive professional leadership experience at a senior/executive management level;
- Successful leadership experience in a healthcare environment with multi-site exposure and experience in the Behavioral Health/Mental Health fields preferred, but not required.
