Responsibilities:
- Develop, organize and conduct training, to include, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) training (Emergency Response, Fall Protection, First Aid/CPR, Incipient Fire, Rigging, etc.), safe work practices and industry compliance requirements.
- Responsible for training coordination including registration, assignments, tracking, reporting, testing, and evaluation.
- Respond timely to employee questions and concerns providing guidance for the purpose of resolving immediate HSSE concerns.
- Assist with contractor management program to ensure company and individual training compliance (ISNetworld/Helipass), to include employee performance evaluations.
- Partner with Managers and Supervisors to ensure HSSE compliance, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSSE programs, procedures, systems, and initiatives.
- Coordinate ad-hoc safety projects such as industrial hygiene monitoring, ergonomic assessments and fall protection surveys.
- Participate in annual HSSE audits providing corrective action guidance if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of training experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Ability to travel overnight up to 50% of the time.
- Prior Offshore work experience, preferred.
- Ability to utilize a variety of business/technical software tools to perform responsibilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to prepare written and oral presentations and to communicate same to all levels within the organization in a clear, concise, persuasive and confident manner.
- Ability to effectively work and share information, ideas, and resources with other individuals, teams, internal customers, and business unit stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize assignments, multi-task, and change direction in a variety of workplace situations.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards
- Ability to train large and small classes
- Train-the-Trainer certifications
- Experience with audio visual technology
- Proficient in Spanish
