Looking to reach the next level? VN Engineers, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Traffic Engineer for their Traffic Design Team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in transportation or traffic engineering. Qualified candidates should be knowledgeable of Federal, State and Local design standards including the MUTCD and AASHTO requirements. They should also be familiar with any of the following programs: Highway Capacity Software, SYNCHRO/SIMTRAFFIC or CORSIM.
Responsibilities will include providing traffic engineering services for various ConnDOT,FDOT, RIODOT projects. Ideal candidate will have experience with data analysis, report writing, corridor safety studies, traffic signal design; maintenance and protection of traffic plans, traffic impact/operations analyses, highway/interchange/intersection improvements.
Good communication, people and organization skills will be critical factors for this project.
