Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC is looking for a Trade Accountant to join our Methanol Finance team in Wichita, KS. This role provides several diverse responsibilities that are structured to build a strong foundation of accounting/finance fundamentals that are critical for career development. This role offers the ability to drive value creation through enhancing internal reporting/controls, streamlining processes through the use of data tools, and building relationships through partnering with key internal customers. The Trade Accountant is in a unique position to gain a high level of exposure across various KAES’ businesses through accounting/reporting ownership.

Position will be based in Wichita, KS, with a hybrid work environment (ability to work remote any 2 days/week).

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Ownership over balance sheet & income statement accuracy and analysis
• Responsible for coding of invoices
• Ownership over the accounting/reporting of core business concepts (risk, operating costs, capital, etc.)
• Monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting
• Gain a high level of exposure to KAES’ Methanol business through accounting ownership
• Identify process improvements & drive innovation

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related business field
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

What Will Put You Ahead

• One year of experience in an accounting or finance role
• Experience working in a commodity business
• Experience with Tableau, Alteryx or other data analytics software
