Scope
Perform various tests and inspections on a variety of tools and accessories to include:
- Finish
- Proper labeling
- Proper information on data plates
- Proper torque
Visual and mechanical inspection required. Must be able to use all equipment or gages that are required to perform the job notifying supervisor or team lead if problems are detected upon inspection.
Job Requirements:
- Three or more months experience in this or similar position
- Use of simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and fractions)
- Use of charts, drawings and specifications
- Capable of using some independent judgment
- Moderate physical effort - frequently lifting or moving product or materials
- Continuous mental and visual attention; repetitive work requiring constant alertness
- Cooperative attitude toward coworkers and management
- Capable of working in a standing position
- Available to work long hours, as needed
- Must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Must wear specified PPE such as ear plugs, safety glasses, etc., as deemed necessary
- Strive for continual improvement in departmental processes and functions
