JOB PURPOSE:
Maintains operation and maintenance of all Physical Plant equipment.
Required Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 10:30pm to 7:00am
Qualifications - External
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two (2) years of experience in a related field.
Experience must include hands-on practical knowledge of boilers, chillers, commercial air handling
equipment, pumps, air compressors, pneumatic controls, DDC controls, refrigeration equipment and
building energy management systems.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Must possess a current 4th class National Power Engineers license per the National Institute for the
Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers (NIULPE) or a current 4th class Georgia Power Engineers license
per the Georgia State Association of Power Engineers.
Must also possess an EPA Universal Refrigeration Certificate.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Georgia driver's license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500
criteria preferred.
