This Position Reports to: MLS Director
Position Summary: The MLS Technology Trainer is responsible for creating and delivering training programs and classes to members on how to best utilize the MLS (Multiple Listing System) platform and products. In addition, they provide MLS technical support to members.
Essential Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following):
MLS Technology Trainer
- Create training programs /classes for members on how to best utilize the MLS platform and MLS Products.
- Work with MLS product vendors to coordinate virtual or live classes for members in collaboration with the Education Director
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop e-learning and “how-to” videos.
- Provide live and virtual training on the MLS platform and MLS Products:
- MLS training
- Broker office training
- Member one-on-one training
- New member orientation
- Ensure www.bayeast.org is current for Training materials.
- Track training and create monthly statistical reports.
- Provide MLS training as needed to Association staff.
- Conduct quality assurance testing on new and existing products to ensure they are working properly.
MLS Tech Support
- Provide members with MLS technical support utilizing telephone, TeamViewer, in-person, or a similar virtual platform.
Other Duties as assigned.
Essential Job Qualifications:
- Education:
- High School Graduate
- Bachelors Degree a plus
- Experience:
- Customer services experience
- Experience with an MLS, REALTOR® Association or related real estate profession a plus.
- Experience in delivering live training.
- Understanding of MLS and Vendor interface a plus
- Specific Skills:
- Public speaking and communications skills
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Superior presentation skills.
- Strong people skills.
o Proficient in applications such as Office 365 and TeamViewer.
- Ability to handle several projects in a flexible organized manner.
This is a hybrid position.
