WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Technical Recruiter, you will represent Quartus Engineering as you assist in engaging talented candidates and guiding them through the hiring process.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Provide full-cycle recruitment utilizing various resources to source qualified candidates and maintain a strong talent pool using our applicant tracking system (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, job boards, community organizations, job fairs, colleges and universities, and networking events
• Build a pipeline of talent through networking for addressing future recruiting needs
• Develop knowledge of each internal customer group, their talent needs, and job requirements to effectively target recruitment efforts in an efficient and cost-effective manner
• Guide each hiring manager through the entire selection process
• Promote the Quartus culture throughout the recruiting process and through utilization of social media outlets
• Provide superior customer service to candidates and internal & external customers throughout the recruitment process; ensure all verbal and written communications are accurate, clear, concise and professional
• Complete pre-employment and new hire processes such as extending offers of employment, conducting reference checks and verification of employment, as well as criminal background investigation and drug screening procedures
• Partner with HR Operations to ensure that new hires are successfully onboarded
• Create and maintain accurate job descriptions for all roles in the organization
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned

LOCATION

Position is based in San Diego, CA with a hybrid schedule.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Communication, Psychology or relevant field
• 4 - 6 years of Engineering recruiting experience (Mechanical, Optical, Aerospace, Software, Mechatronics)
• Space industry a plus (launch vehicles, satellites)
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Some travel required to attend career fairs
• Must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)
