Job Description DESCRIPTION of the position:
Full time school days Teacher Assistant works 1:1 for each child’s individualized education plan and works with small groups in the classroom under the direction of the Lead Teacher We have children ages 5-13 with autism/special education needs.
LOCATION: Bay Parkway, Brooklyn 11214 SCHEDULE: Monday -Thursday: 8:30 - 4:00 Friday- 8:30- 1:00. RESPONSIBILITIES of the Job: Work with children on the autism spectrum ages 5-19 to do direct classroom educational and behavioral instruction in various settings throughout the day.
REQUIREMENTS of the job: Must have a minimum of 1 full year of experience with children with autism.
Education requirements: Must have Special Education Educational Background

Company Description Our Future School - Atidaynu Our program is designed for students who are diagnosed with Autism and have language, social skills development, and academic needs. We provide direct social skill instruction, intensive language instruction, and academic instruction. We integrate an ABA approach as well as a structured classroom setting. All of our lessons are modified to ensure that students with ASD can gain the most from the curriculum.
