Teacher/Educator Job at Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA
The Girl Scouts is more than just cookies! Our Program Coordinators help the Girl Members explore many other educational programs, including STEM/STEAM and Outdoor Education. The Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, organizing, implementing, and leading or assisting in Girl Scout educational programs. Program Coordinators also conduct outreach to find new opportunities, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must! To be successful in this position, experience in working hands-on (virtually and/or in-person) with girls K-5 in a group classroom setting and at least 4-5 years of experience in teaching professional education/curriculum development are a must.
This Program Coordinator will be based out of the Harrisburg office and primarily serve the Dauphin, Cumberland, Franklin, and Lebanon County area - travel to these areas is required. There may also be travel to other areas in our 30-county footprint, so a valid driver's license is required. Our general hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, though occasional evenings and weekends are required, depending on programming needs.
