We’re currently recruiting for a role with one of the most successful online schools in the world. They have an exciting tech-focused culture and need additional educators to support their recent growth in student numbers.

The Role

We’re looking for people who are passionate about empowering students to succeed in their English language education. You’ll work with students of all ages and abilities to develop effective listening, reading and speaking skills.

You’ll ensure that your students are proficient in both formal and informal English, so they are confident and competent in their English communication in a variety of real-world scenarios.

As an online English teacher, you’ll use your extensive knowledge of the English language to provide engaging, enjoyable, effective learning experiences for students.

You’ll be responsible for delivering an innovative English program with the support of market-leading technology. You’ll also encourage your students to improve their English language skills using their own initiative, directing them to relevant print, internet, radio and television sources.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this position will be enthusiastic, professional and have a passion for teaching.

Online teaching experience is beneficial but not required.

Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training to help them get the best possible start in their career.

Responsibilities

• Teaching individuals and groups of students of all ages and abilities according to the school's

English language curriculum.

• Create a welcoming, positive learning environment that prioritizes instruction over discipline.

• Planning, preparation and teaching of lessons to deliver measurable progress for individuals and groups of students.

• Ensure outstanding student achievement in your classroom and support colleagues to achieve outstanding student achievement at school.

• Consult and communicate with parents and school staff in the best interest of the students.

• Educated to degree level.

• Good organizational skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• A genuine dedication to helping students and their English language needs.

• A calm and resilient personality.

• Strong technology and computer skills.
