Kid City USA Cordera is looking for lead teachers!
Kid City USA Cordera teaches ages 6 weeks to 6 years & we are looking for a loving, caring individuals who love working alongside children.
Job duties include:
- Plan both long- and short-range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy.
- Classroom teaching involving explaining an activity, engaging children in the activity and supervising their work (i.e. standing, walking, bending or squatting)
- Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child.
- Encourage assistants to contribute to curriculum planning.
- Turn in weekly lesson plans for review (lesson plans due a week ahead of time) Prepare monthly plan charts.
- Complete assessment of children's development.
- Report progress of children to parents and through parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain daily open communication with parents.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
