This position requires accurate and accountable performance of all necessary duties to ensure safe and efficient operations. The tank truck driver will haul ethanol only, no gas hauling to various terminals locally. DAY Shift, Hourly rate/60 hour week, $75,000.00 annual minimum.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Safely transport ethanol from the plant and offload.
• Local loads as well as other deliveries as required by business needs.
• Operate and maintain equipment.
• Work closely with dispatch and inform them of any mechanical problems regarding truck or trailer.
• Notify dispatch of any delivery delays or problems with loads.
• Keep accurate and timely logs.
• Required to follow all DOT regulations, including required rest breaks.
• Maintain driver qualification file and provide timely response to all documentation requests.
• Participate in random drug and alcohol screening pool.
• Complete required enrollment and participate in FMSCA Drug and Alcohol Clearing House.
• Participate in safety programs and ongoing training sessions.
• Follow established daily schedule to ensure timely transition to next driver.
• Follow established procedures for all terminals.
• Maintain clean cab and truck/trailer. Remove all personal items prior to next driver's shift.
• Participates in safety, health, environmental and ongoing training programs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 23 Years of age.
• Two years verifiable tractor/trailer driving experience.
• Valid CDL with valid Tank and Hazardous Material endorsements.
• Meet all DOT requirements.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
• Must be hard working and self-motivated.
• Accurately complete all required documentation.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned work.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Immediate Disqualifications:

• Conviction of DUI, DWI, Reckless Driving.
• Major preventable accident in the last three years.
• More than one moving ticket violation in the last 3 years.
• More than one chargeable accident within the last three years.
• Conviction of DUI, DUS, or open container in the past seven years.
• Conviction for unlawful use, possession or distribution of controlled substance.
• Positive controlled substance/alcohol test from prior employer.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Must be able to climb ladders and steps, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
• The employee may be exposed to dusty conditions.
• The employee is regularly exposed to high noise environments.
• The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather in all conditions.
• The employee will regularly be exposed to chemicals used in the process
