Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at X-fab Texas Inc
Functions/Duties:
Recruits and sources top-notch candidates by determining job requirements, industry trends and hiring needs. Works extensively with hiring managers to assist in recruitment and selection process.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains an attitude and philosophy consistent with the company’s vision and values of Teamwork, Commitment, Integrity & Respect and Innovation
- Determines selection criteria, hiring profiles and job requirements for vacant positions
- Collaborates with leadership and internal departments to determine recruitment needs
- Develops hiring strategies and procedures in line with industry trends
- Sources and screens passive and active candidates through online company career portals, recruitment sites, job boards, social platforms, job referrals, career fairs, printed media, etc.
- Evaluates and screens applications, using effective hiring practices and applicant tracking methodologies
- Manages candidate database and pipeline to maintain proactive and timely communication
- Manages expectations of hiring managers, providing regular updates of recruiting efforts
- Establishes, maintains and monitors key recruitment metrics
- Promotes X-FAB’s company brand with recruitment initiatives and events
Current Skills/Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms which attract suitable applicants
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and practices
- Proficiency in HRIS applicant tracking systems; Paycom a plus!
- Time and priority management, managing several projects concurrently
- Customer service oriented
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint
- Proven team worker & self-starter with good problem solving & decision-making skills
- Flexibility (work schedules may vary)
Education/Skills Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field. Minimum of two years direct experience. PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
