Description:This position is for a level 4 Systems Engineer (SE) that will be supporting the TTWCS (Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System) program. The successful candidate will be the CAM (Control Account Manager) for Engineering and Development Activities as well as a strong technical contributor to the systems engineering team.

As a systems engineer you will:
  • Support agile planning and Earned Value Management ensuring activities are tracking on schedule, within available cost, and appropriately staffed. This is full-cycle support from estimation to quarterly budget, staff, and work planning with monthly status and variance analysis reporting.
  • Support efforts to introduce new capabilities, advanced designs, and modification for the program's complex software system, computer infrastructure, and/or cyber security efforts.
  • Work in an agile team leveraging Jira to manage tasking.
  • Coordinate efforts with other teams, including SW, test, and cyber, both internal and external, to ensure changes are well designed and understood.
  • Communicate design changes through documentation including architectural designs, interface specs, whitepapers, and requirements documentation.

A strong background in earned value management (EVM) and previous experience as a CAM will aid in the success of the CAM responsibilities of this position.

The position requires onsite activities >50% as program needs dictate at the LM Valley Forge site in King of Prussia, PA.

At least a full DoD Secret security clearance is required to start this position.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Candidates MUST currently possess a Full DoD SECRET level clearance or higher
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (i.e, System Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • CAM (Control Account Manager) experience and EVM knowledge
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working as a systems engineer on a large-scale software program
Desired Skills:
  • Experience working on an Agile team
  • Experience as an Agile Scrum Master or Agile Product Owner
  • Managing tasks with Jira
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience such as MagicDraw or Rhapsody.
  • Cyber Security Certifications (e.g. Security+, CISSP, etc.)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
