Position Overview
In support of NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Division, personnel shall provide support for the Enterprise Sustainment & Evolution branch and the Enterprise Mission Management branch in the following areas: Program and Mission Management, Configuration Management, Technical Standards, Mission Engineering Analysis, Evolution, and Architecture
Essential Job Function
Systems Engineering – Architecture
- Develop, maintain, and assist in the execution of the NC3 Architecture Governance Plan.
- Serve as the NC3 Enterprise architecture SME to support data-driven enterprise decisions based on the NC3 Enterprise Architecture. Support senior leaders and provide architectural recommendations to meet strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with NC3 architecture teams to provide input to capture user requirements and use cases for improvement of the NC3 Digital Mission Engineering Environment (NDMEE). Coordinate with enterprise Data Governance Group (DGG) to develop the NC3 enterprise data standards and processes for architectural products in the NDMEE.
- Produce and publish baseline and incremental NC3 system of systems architectures to support and update information hosted in the NC3 Enterprise Library (NEL) or other digital engineering tools. Development of detail architecture artifacts for subsets of the NC3 Enterprise, as needed.
- Ingest, re-format (as needed), and publish the NC3 “As-Is” architecture using validated and verified authoritative data to support and update information hosted in the NC3 Enterprise Library (NEL) or other digital engineering tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess a BS or BA degree in Engineering.
- Must have at least five years of experience in the following:
- Establishing system information requirements.
- Designing architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
- Evaluating problems of workflows, organization, and planning and developing appropriate corrective action.
- Shall be a US Citizen
- Must have a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Nuclear Command and Control - Extremely Sensitive Information (NC2-ESI), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Special Access Required (SAR) classified material, Communications Security (COMSEC) Information, Restricted Data (RD), Formally restricted Data (FRD), Critical Nuclear Weapon Design Information (CNWDI), and Foreign Government.
Desired Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of demonstrated relevant experience with the NEC.
- At least three (3) years of demonstrated relevant experience with and/or education in communication principles and theory in NC3 systems.
