Location: Crystal City, Arlington, VA (Hybrid Remote – Min. 1 day per week in office)

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for

• Support Windows based environments, commercial of the shelf applications, and government developed enterprise applications
• Provide Windows administration for Windows or UNIX/Linux servers in physical and virtual environments
• Configure, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot IT systems
• Use Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe
• Provide Windows System Administration including Group Policy management, AD replication, AD PowerShell commands, LDAP queries, and Active Directory Service Interface Editor (ADSIEdit)
• Configure and manage virtual infrastructure technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Work with network monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds and/or ScienceLogic SL1

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
• Knowledge and experience of virtual machine creation and administration; specifically, VMWare
• Knowledge and experience with developing, administrating and managing system backup and recovery processes; specifically, VEEAM backup
• Knowledge and experience with administrating cloud-based/SaaS systems to enable users
• Knowledge and specific SCCM experience specifically with the management of patching processes and reporting
• Demonstrated problem solving abilities through research, collaboration and testing
• Security + w/ce
• Top Secret clearance, with ability to obtain SCI
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

Desired Qualifications

10+ years direct experience in systems administration

• Experience with systems architecture and design
• Knowledge of Dell, Nimble, AWS and Azure storage technologies/services
• Knowledge of or experience with network administration
• Experience with and/or knowledge of cloud systems administration
• Experience and knowledge of cyber security practices
• Experience with ISO 20k, 27k and/or NIST 800-171 controls
• Ability to develop and maintain accurate and effective system and user documentation
• SCCM experience with patch management and other operational support
• AWS or Azure Cloud certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,752.24 - $137,938.41 per year
