Surgical Coordinator for Busy Ophthalmology Practice Job at Pacific Northwest Eye Associates
We are a thriving Ophthalmic Surgery/Eye Care practice located in Tacoma, WA, looking for the right person to fill a specialized role as Surgery Scheduler/Patient Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will bring a customer-centered attitude and provide premium service to our patients. The candidate must be organized and have great attention to detail. Previous customer service/sales experience will be a plus to help our patients navigate their surgical journey.
Responsibilities Include:
· Patient Liaison-ability to support our patients through the beginning of their surgical journey to the end.
· Discuss procedures and pricing for lens upgrades during the initial consultation, schedule procedures, maintain patient contact leading up to the preoperative visit and post-surgical follow up concerning patient satisfaction.
· Initiate follow-up contact with potential surgical patients who have not yet scheduled.
· Coordinate surgery with our on-site Ambulatory Surgery Center.
· Close communication with Providers and Clinical Staff to ensure flawless coordination of procedures including special supplies and equipment needs.
