Ventana Big Sur, an Alila Resort, is an iconic resort in the heart of the California Central Coast's rugged landscape, perched at the edge of the continent overlooking the majestic Pacific coastline. Set among 160 acres of rolling meadows, towering redwoods and Pacific Ocean views. The resort includes campgrounds, including the Redwood Canyon Glampsites offering a rustic-luxury twist on traditional camping in the resort's redwood forest. Our snackbar is a converted air stream camper.
We believe our guests select Ventana because of our caring and attentive colleagues who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences. Sur Stream Attendants have multiple responsibilities. The primary duty is to welcome and greet guests. They may also record guest food and/or beverage orders and offer suggestions. This position processes forms of payment for goods and services to include credit card and cash. In addition, they will maintain a presentable guest area, cleaning tables as needed and ensuring condiments, utensils, glassware and other supplies are stocked, neat and well maintained. Sur Stream Attendants may be the final point of contact for the experience and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:
- As a Sur Stream Attendant you will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Sur Stream menu
- Prepare basic meals and drinks for campers at the campground and glampground
- Take pride in every aspect of your work and perform it with energy and enthusiasm
- Work as a team player with a commitment to outstanding customer service
We’re looking for:
- Great communication and people skills.
- Food service or retail experience preferred
- Basic food safety understanding and practice
Physical Requirements:
- Role requires sitting
- Infrequent walking and standing in the Sur Stream space
- Limited to no squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling required
- Lifting of items weighing approximately 5 pounds
