Suppression Shop Technician / Inventory Specialist – Warren, Ohio

The Shop Technician will:

• Conduct hydrostatic testing, as per provided training
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on customer equipment as required, as per provided training
• Keep the shop clean and organized
• Receive and send all shipments to and from thefacility
• Manage and restock parts for mobile suppression warehouses
• Place part orders
• Attend manufacturer-based training on the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment
• Successfully pass state certification testing before working on any equipment
• Maintain state license and keep up to date with changes to NFPA
• Perform mechanical repairs onfire suppression equipment per manufacturer's and MES' provided training
• Be knowledgeable in basic IOS skills, allowing for the completion of digital work orders on iPad
• Be knowledgeable in basic computer skills, allowing for the completion of shipping and receiving orders
• Provide quality work with superior attention to detail on life-saving equipment

• Prepared to complete a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle record check, and background check
• A high school graduate (or GED recipient)

Preferred Experience includes:

• State of Ohio Hand Portable Extinguisher License (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time, 8 hour shift

Note:* This is NOT *a remote position. Candidate must live near our Warren, Ohio facility prior to start date.
