Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Supervisor leads the QA department employees and processes to ensure the production of high-quality product at the lowest cost while meeting the demands of our customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides support to the production process and ensures adherence of all FDA, Company, and Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) requirements within the facility.
  • Knowledgeable of the documentation, training, and requirements necessary for maintaining a globally recognized quality and food safety certification. This may include assisting and/or executing audits of the program requirements internally.
  • Ensures accuracy and efficiency of the water processing, syrup-batching, and all other QA testing and record-keeping tasks.
  • Monitors proper sanitation and housekeeping procedures; holds employees accountable to set standards.
  • Assist operations on innovative ideas or projects while aiding in troubleshooting issues on various production equipment, product and/or packaging.
  • Participates in audits, both internally and externally, for regulatory, customer, and or brand-owner compliance and certification standards for business operations.
  • Provides training to QA employees, ensuring successful knowledge transfers of quality process requirements necessary to successfully execute the job.
  • Communicate expectations to all QA employees and develop, counsel, and coach employees on their performance and productivity; maintain accurate records of performance and productivity for periodic review.
  • Drive safe work acts and safety metrics through leading by example, assessing the environmental influences and creating awareness for each activity within the department.
  • Provides direction and assistance in the execution of department goals in alignment with the company business plan.
  • Work Schedule: First Shift: 5am Start

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience required.
  • Previous food and beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Two years supervision or leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of water treatment systems.
  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) knowledge required. Certification preferred.
  • Strong Food Safety and Sanitation experience required.
  • Prior background in Microbiology preferred.
  • Experience working in an ISO environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written.
