Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a Loan Administration Supervisor to join our team!
A role you will love
The Loan Administration Supervisor oversees the conversion of transfer data for loan boarding. Also directs and motivates staff ensuring cohesive interaction between Loan Administration and other SLS departments. Role is also responsible for handling escalations or routine communications and monitoring performance of the work units.
- Manage the daily responsibilities of the team to ensure accurate mapping of transfer data into a pre-boarding system utilizing proprietary programs, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other software.
- Responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of controls and exception reporting on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Initiate and facilitate projects leading to enhancements or improvements within the department and with vendors. This would include determination of improvements needed, submitting detailed project requirements, communication with other areas as needed, testing and validation, and implementation and communication to staff. Provides detail of efficiencies gained, leading to cost and/or FTE savings.
- Prepare monthly reports and statistics, forecast work volumes, forecast, and validate department staffing needs, and manage to key performance
- Provide feedback and guidance to associates related to employee issues and HR policies, as well as on individual performance.
- Communicate with People Team on department and company policies as needed.
- Assist with hiring new associates and with corrective action and termination of associates.
- Attend various meetings to represent the department as needed.
- Able to speak to issues or take away items for further review.
- Facilitate department meetings, communications, functions, activities, etc.
- Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.
What we need from you
Strong organizational and critical thinking skills, while being self-motivated and understanding sense of urgency.
Strong ability to communicate with outside vendors and internal employees of all levels for implementation of new and existing projects.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
Proficient knowledge of personal computers using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Visio with advanced skills required in Excel, Access, Visio, and Power Point.
Ability to learn and operate all in-house computer systems and a variety of vendor software applications.
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, peers, and all levels of management through written and verbal communication.
Ability to prepare and present structured materials to any size groups in a professional and organized fashion.

Education and Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
5+ years Mortgage Servicing experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of industry standard business practices, procedures, and compliance requirements relating to the areas of Loan Administration.
Previous experience with mortgage servicing systems preferred.
Management Experience of 2-5 associates required.
