A great opportunity has opened up in our established investigative firm. Formed in 1987, RJN Investigations is a private investigative company specializing in video surveillance, activity checks and other SIU services related to Worker’s Compensation and insurance defense level investigations.

We are currently seeking experienced full and part time surveillance investigators to fill positions in the following counties of California:

San Diego, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Alameda, Santa Clara, Sacramento and Marin.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1-3 years direct Sub-rosa experience.

In addition, seeking qualified subcontractors for certain areas to handle assignment overflow, or surveillance investigations requiring extensive experience.

Pay range is $20 - $30 an hour DOE.

Subcontractor rates vary based on experience level.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Investigates all issues of insurance claims.

2. Conducts surveillance of subjects using surveillance vehicles and video camera equipment.

3. Serves processes, collects and obtains evidence.

4. Writes reports of investigations for clients and management.

5. Testifies in court.

6. Conducts activities checks and general interest surveys in the subject's neighborhoods and prepares field reports to submit to management.

7. Ability to discreetly maintain Subrosa position inside a vehicle for prolonged periods of time.

8. Maintains constant observation of subject and documents information relative to subject's activities.

9. Conducts public record investigations of subject by researching various records.

10. Locates, verifies and confirms accurate residence of claimants.

11. Conducts such other investigative measures as may be designated by the employer as assigned.

12. Urgent client assignments require flexibility with scheduling and prohibits regular days off.

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid California Driver's license.

Current auto insurance/registration.

Need reliable surveillance ready vehicle suitable for covert purposes.

Knowledge of uploading photo images and digital video is essential.

Experience using a laptop - typing skills 30-35 WPM Knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet.

Good grammar and writing skills.

Bilingual in ANY languages and /or criminal justice degree a HUGE plus!

Must be able to pass thorough background check and drug screening.

Full time positions require open availability due to rotating days off.
