Stormwater Compliance Coordinator (Design Division) Job at State of Missouri
This position will be filled at a salary no higher than the posted maximum salary.

The stormwater compliance coordinator is responsible for the department's regulatory compliance under various stormwater management and environmental protection rules, regulations, and programs.
What you’ll do:
- Serves as the primary administrator for the land disturbance and Transportation Separate Storm Sewer System (TS4) permit programs.
- Coordinates the development, delivery, maintenance, and annual reporting requirements of all training programs related to land disturbance and the TS4 permit.
- Serves as MoDOT’s main point of contact related to land disturbance and stormwater with Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
- Responsible for completing all permitting requirements of the land disturbance and stormwater permits.
- Coordinates with MoDOT staff to ensure compliance with land disturbance permit obligations and TS4 permit minimum control measures by conducting design plan reviews, field compliance reviews, and Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) coordination.
All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: Biology, Soil Science, Hydrology, Civil Engineering or related field.
- Six years of experience in aspects related to stormwater management and/or environmental programs.
- Certification in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) within six months of hire.
Special Working Conditions:
- Job requires regular, statewide overnight travel.
- Job requires exposure to moderately adverse and undesirable environmental conditions.
