Storeroom Clerk Job at Boise Cascade

  • Sorts, counts/weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices
  • Stores articles (in bins, on floor, or on shelves) according to identifying information such as style, size, part number, or type of material
  • Issues supplies from stockroom, ensuring that check-out paperwork is properly completed
  • Organizes and maintains stockroom inventory; conducts inventories on stock parts daily to determine items for re-order
  • Marks articles with identifying codes, figures, or letters
  • Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space
  • Delivers materials/supplies to departments if needed
  • Maintains stockroom records, including inventories, requisitions, receivers, check-outs, etc
  • Prepares documents for out-bound shipments
  • Drives company vehicle to deliver/pick up materials as required
  • Fills in for Purchasing Agent as necessary
  • Mops floors, scrubs sinks, toilets, water fountains and other equipment with brushes and rags
  • Follows Company policies, procedures and safety rules

Experience

Required
  • 2 year(s): Minimum of 2 years experience in automated storeroom procedures referred
