Provide oversight of sales and front of store management for the retail store under the direction of the Director to drive sales and promote the MARCH brand. This person is responsible for managing brand operational processes and implementing new ones, in support of Retail and E-commerce. This role works closely with an offsite warehouse and Warehouse manager for shipping and receiving. This person is responsible for all store staffing and training. This Manager must have the ability to work quickly and under pressure, handle multiple overlapping responsibilities, and adapt to frequent changes. Must be energetic, proactive, organized, and possess excellent communication skills. Effective communication with the cross-functional and external team is critical

Responsibilities

Sales

• Meets and exceeds all store sales goals
• Exceeds customer service expectations
• Provides pricing and analysis of selling trends to promote sales growth for the buying team
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with all clients; working to ensure growth of trade and registry business in coordination with the customer experience manager; analyzes store business looking for opportunities and best practices
• Maintains the look and feel of the store and garden following the merchandising direction of the Director so that the store experience is fresh and inspiring
• Supports online store

Management

• Store Staff - Hire, train and manage sales staff
• Conduct regular store meetings and staff training working closely with store staff lead
• Maintains and possesses “ownership mentality” and encourages others to do the same
• Events - work with events team to successfully execute all instore events and outreach

Administrative

• Manages store revenue, POS operations and transactions, including deposit reconciliation and delivery of deposits to bank
• Represents and promotes brand inside and out of the store
• Works with sales staff to maintain the store ensuring a clean selling space that is brand reflective
• Oversee Store Lead

Operations

• Assists Planner to maintain inventory levels, works with sales staff and shipping to receive and pull inventory for store transfers and shipping. Conducts physical inventories under the direction of Planner.
• Ownership of non-inventory Store supply levels and replenishment with an eye to cost and storage capabilities of store and stockroom

Facilities

• Oversee all non IT hardware and physical needs of the store, including contracting for repairs/maintenance and making sure that all maintenance is done in a timely manner.
• Maintain facilities for the store; including the outdoor area.

Skills

• Strong Mac & Office Suite Skills Required / Adobe Suite Skills a Plus

Pay: $72,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
