STNA Job Description:

The STNA position is responsible for providing direct care to our beloved residents, primarily their activities of daily living in accordance with established nursing care procedures and policies.

STNA Responsibilities:

• Provide care to residents according to the physician's orders and charge nurse directions
• Bathe residents when needed. Provide morning and evening care
• Dress residents in appropriate clothing with respect to weather conditions
• Provide oral, nail care, hair care daily and as needed
• Shave residents as needed
• Change bed linens daily as needed or upon resident request
• Pass meal trays upon arrival and set them up and feed residents that need assistance
• Offer water frequently
• Perform other duties as assigned.

STNA Qualifications:

• The qualified candidate will have a compassionate heart for the residents and will work to make sure that they keep the residents clean and safe and treat them in a dignified manner.
• The qualified candidate must be a State Tested Nurse Aide in good standing and eligible to work per the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry.
• The qualified candidate must be able to understand, read, write and follow oral instructions in the English language.
