Steel Detailer - Entry Level Job at The Berlin Steel Construction Company
The Berlin Steel Construction Company is a full service specialty contractor, primarily with structural steel and miscellaneous metals. We design, fabricate, and erect structures in the Northeast and in other parts of the country. We have 2 fabrication facilities, 4 erection operations facilities, and 6 office locations that provide engineering and management of projects. We are a 100% employee owned company (ESOP) with a desire for growth. We service the private commercial, public, institutional, and industrial markets.
We are looking for two entry level Steel Detailers to work in one of our office locations in Johnston, RI; West Chester, PA; or Kensington, CT location.
The applicants that fill these positions will be responsible for creating and checking erection and fabrication shop drawings for structural and/or miscellaneous metal. Applicants must have one to two years of college or trade school education in AutoCAD or two years of practical experience may be substituted for formal training. A current working knowledge/understanding of the latest version of the AISC regulations/requirements related to connection design, detailing practices, steel member dimensions & properties is a plus.
We are an AA/EOE. These are full time employment positions based in our office. Remote work is not available.
