Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)

Provides cost estimating services to support Capital and Expense projects (Industrial Construction). Supports and assists Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Developers to develop and estimate costs for Power, which includes Fossil Fuel (Natural Gas), Geothermal, Solar, Bulk Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects, and other Renewables, as well as Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCUS). Assist in developing estimating databases and templates for future project use. Develops conceptual and detailed cost estimates for large capital projects and smaller maintenance projects with indicative accuracy from +/-10% to +/-30%. Develops estimating to validate EPC and Construction Subcontractor proposals, including change order and equipment supplier pricing evaluation. Evaluate alternatives and assist in developing alternative estimates during project definition and conceptual planning phase.

• Collaborate and solve problems – works with others to resolve significant issues, clarify or interpret complex information, provide initial screening/negotiations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• In-depth experience across knowledge areas and multiple functions including project management; typically requires 10+ years experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office software and specifically MS Excel.
