Sr. Payroll Analyst Job at Ariat International
About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Sr. Payroll Analyst is to be involved in end-to-end payroll processing for up to 600+ employees, multi-state payroll, stock option payroll processing, benefits administration, new hires, onboarding and offboarding, 401k and WC audits and payroll reporting, garnishments, payroll taxes, bonuses, commissions and more. Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with the company’s schedule. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Payroll and Benefits and is integral in supporting Accounting/Finance, Travel & Expense, HR and Management.
Please Note: Ariat's corporate headquarters will be relocating from Union City, CA to San Leandro, CA spring of 2023.
You'll Make a Difference By
- Process semi-monthly payroll and special payroll runs
- Timely and accurate maintenance of employee’s data records within ADP and Success Factor
- Production of semi-monthly payroll reports and other departments requested reports
- Provide knowledge and accurate assistance and guide employees regarding the company’s Benefit Programs, i.e. PTO, Holidays, Medical/Dental/Vision, Life, STD/LTD coverage, etc.
- Assist with internal/external audits such as 401k, payroll audit, Worker Comps audit
- Provide support to internal/external business partners
- Support business partners and teams with preparation of reports and follow-up timelines and deliverables
- Checking and auditing timesheets of nonexempt employees for accuracy
- Auditing and processing invoices for medical, dental, vision, 401k and more
About You
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to work to deadlines
- Experience and knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, Time & Attendance a plus
- Good verbal and written communication
- Adhere to the utmost discretion when handling confidential information
- Ability to work with a team

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $78,000 per year.
The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
