This role supports our North America operations based in our global headquarters in Sharonville, OH. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records for our Subsidiary US operations, assisting with Financial Integrations of newly acquired subsidiaries, leading Shared Services implementations, performing (and automating) account reconciliations, driving and improving monthly closing, and driving process improvement within the finance & accounting team. You will also be assisting the Controller and CFO as needed with ad-hoc projects.

We’re looking for someone that has a strong grasp of accounting principles, demonstrates organizational skills, and proficiency with IT systems. You’ll have the ability to standardize and automate routine tasks using self-service analytics tools and improve data visibility to our operations team. We’re constantly acquiring and integrating new businesses and each deal looks different!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
  • Assisting with the Financial Integration of the Acquisitions
  • Chart of Account mapping of newly acquired businesses
  • Implementing Shared Services for subsidiaries
  • Meeting processing and reporting deadlines
  • Preparing journal entries, analyses, and assisting with monthly close processes
  • Performing and automating monthly balance sheet and bank account reconciliations
  • Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits
  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP
  • Assisting the Controller and CFO as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • ERP system experience (NAV, Chempax, or similar systems) preferred
  • Prior experience with BI/Analytics tools helpful but not required (e.g. Alteryx, DataIku, Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)

EDUCATION REQUREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
