Key Qualifications
- 5+ years experience building and debugging consumer-facing applications in JavaScript ES6+, HTML/CSS
- Experience developing rich and interactive user interfaces
- Experience with modern JavaScript web frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)
- Native App development or willingness to learn swift and contribute to the tool's development is a plus. Experience using Git.
- Large project experience. You have a track record of driving positive changes inside mission-critical code bases.
- You are excellent at refactoring code with care, minimizing bugs and regressions. Experience bringing an impactful feature to fruition by collaborating with diverse teams. A passionate learner who follows or participates in dev community events and content.
- A good design sense and an understanding of data visualization concepts.
Description
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you tackle sophisticated problems while enjoying working in an Agile team that continually delights and surprises our users. You collaborate daily with designers, data engineers, and product managers and play an active role in the future roadmap of our web applications. You have proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate sophisticated technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will need to audit new and existing internal and external solutions, work with teams throughout the lifecycle of a project on features and solutions, liaise and co-ordinate with various functions, and represent the team positively and effectively at all times. Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,000 and $217,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
