Hours:
7:00am to 3:30pm with flexibility to work overtime, if needed.

Summary We are currently looking for two (2) Special Testing and Audit Technicians to assist in the auditing of finished products and Tool room piece parts for conformance to documented specifications by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned.

  • Audit products for form, fit and function.
  • Enter orders into final audit tracking program and run audit report.
  • Close manufacturing orders in Grayhill's manufacturing enterprise software program.
  • Advise Production Training Leader of quality audit issues.
  • Notify the Planning group of audit issues that affect throughput.
  • Verify special testing or documentation requirements of manufacturing orders.
  • Forward rejected orders to the Production Leader.
  • Immediately notify Production Supervisor when quality issue could affect other orders and notify other internal customers when an order is put on hold.
  • Audit, approve and send Tool room piece parts to stock.
  • Refer manufacturing orders to the Quality Lab for testing as needed.
  • Conduct special testing as required, creating and maintaining testing records.
  • Supply a test traveler with MOs when required.
  • Supply special Certificate of Conformance per customer request.
  • Supply/create QAS documents for customers.
  • Enter control plan data into QAS.
  • Create and verify labeling requirements.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and program Label Machine as needed.
  • Deliver products to Shipping group or Finished Stock room.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years assembly experience and/or training, and good attendance.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
