Brookwood in Georgetown, a God-centered, dynamic vocational program for adults with special needs, is looking for a Program Director who will be responsible for the day to day operations of our three local campuses.

The purpose of this position is to create, grow, and maintain a world-class vocational program where Citizens are celebrated for exactly who they are, challenged to learn and grow, and are given the stage to change the world's understanding of who they are and what they're capable of. What Will you do?

• You will be responsible for the supervision of each campus as they oversee the daily needs, adaptations, and general wellness of Citizens and staff
• Raise up campus leads by training and equipping them in BiG's culture, checking in with them on a weekly basis and occasionally running a workroom
• Coordinate and communicate with families as necessary concerning Citizen related matters across all vocational programs.
• Establish, evaluate, and update training guides, safety procedures, etc.
• Drive towards continually greater Citizen engagement across all enterprises and campuses
• Work with HR Deparment to recruit and interview prospective staff
• Work with the Admissions Department to determine if BiG can meet the needs of prospective Citizens.
• Create and develop new work enterprises for the Citizens and staff to engage in
• Involvement in major fundraisers in terms of helping guide Citizen envolvement

What do you know?

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in psychology, human services or special education field is preferred
• Two to five years experience working with adults with special needs
• Minimum of one year management experience
• Basic computer skills and competency in Office 360 as well as communication platforms
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all staff and families
• Must have professional written and verbal communications skills and possess the ability to meet and interact with the public.
• Must have the ability to motivate people and cultivate our culture
