Job Description: Workers will be asked to work with AUI solar professionals in assembling the racking and attaching solar modules to the racking once completed.

The Laborer should be able to effectively follow instructions from the Superintendent/Foreman and take initiative in completing the work assigned.
Responsibilities: The Laborer should report with the Foreman on a consistent basis to discuss the progress of the assignment, scheduling, quality of work, and the proper utilization of materials. The candidate will, at times, be responsible for completing work at more than one location. The Laborer should apply all safety requirements and report any violations to the Foreman and designated safety individual(s) responsible for compliance. The Laborer should always be willing to go the extra mile to complete the scope of the project.
What we are looking for: The ideal candidate should be able to show up on time, ready to work and to make a difference. The ideal candidate should have some experience with solar panel installation. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to complete the work at hand as each step of the project is vital for completing on time and on budget.

Job Location: Camillus, NY

Job Expected End Date: July 28th, 2023
Qualifications: Must be able to provide proof of residence in Cayuga, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Tompkins or Wayne County, New York.
- Valid Driver’s License, High School Diploma or GED required
- Able to pass a drug test and background check at any given time
- We prefer you have at least 2 years of experience in installation or construction.
- Candidates with experience installing solar racking and modules will be given preferred consideration
- Skilled knowledge and understanding of hand/power tools
- Able to lift at least 50 to 100 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, mobilize hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear and any such capabilities for up to 12 hours at a time
- Able to read and write without assistance
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- Must own a cell phone with WIFI capabilities for assignment communications
- Experience operating skid steer or forklift is preferred
- Must have the ability to communicate respectfully and work as a team with other field members and management regarding the assignment requirements and progress of the project.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
