Software Quality Assurance Engineer Co-Op in Burlington, MA
You will engage and partner on innovative projects to gain experience in an Agile, fast-paced, and cross functional team environment, working as part of a product development team. You will receive mentor support for your professional development and cutting-edge technologies, such as IoT and Machine learning, with a focus on testing the Keurig Connected Brewer System product lifecycle to ensure that brewer software is functioning properly and provides the proper user experience.
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including CPT/OPT.
Shift and Schedule:
- The KDP 2023 Co-Op Program will run from January 9th - June 23rd, 2023
- Full-time; 40 hours per week
- Monday- Friday
- 8:00 am until 5:00 pm
Compensation:
- Pay at $27 per hour
- Paid bi-weekly
Responsibilities:
Work with software team leads and members to setup device hardware for testing, write and execute test cases, and create defects- Install and update firmware both manually and over the air on the brewers
- Brainstorm ways to simulate and mimic consumer use cases
- Review test coverage and identify gaps
- Participate in discussions for testing new product features
- Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures
Requirements:
Must be an undergraduate junior or senior currently enrolled in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering program
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; and work well in group problem-solving situations
- Strong analytical / troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage tasks, prioritize requests and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills including exceptional listening, written and verbal abilities
- Capability to work cross-functionally and independently and are a self-starter
- A strong desire to break things
Preferred experience:
C++, C, Python, or other object-oriented program languages
- Bitbucket or Git or another source control system
- Linux and Smart Home devices
